Twok Friday 4/8 - 04/10/16 06:34 PM
Had one of the best catching days in a looong time on twok with TFFer, Guy. We met on PM a few times but this was our first time fishing together, and an epic one to boot!
We caught well over 150+ from noon to 6pm and left them biting. It was insanely easy catching the last 2 hours. I caught the most doubles ever on slabs and jigs on top. 40 were hybrids/stripers but only two were big adults caught on sassy by Guy, the rest were shorts but fun as well. And the rest were good whites and big yellows.
We caught fish pretty much at most of the humps and points we stopped. But the last community humps on the west side, birds were working, we were the only boat there for an hour, the fish were so thick we were both worn out lol.
Good catching depth was 20 to 25ft. Wind started strong NE 15 mph then gradually down to zero late in the day. Water temp was 66 degrees.
Some fun braggin pics
I am in Houston now to celebrate my mom's 92th birthday. Brought good fresh fish home for mom so mom's happy I am happy
Good luck guys.
