RC Boat Ramps

Are the ramps at RC still useable, does anyone know about Fisherman's Point ramp

Supposed to be dredging out the silt and sand, and filling in the drop-offs in the next few days.

May want to give them a call before you head that way.

Very difficult to launch and load in the current condition.

Only other ramp on the Lake that is open is Oak Cove on the Hwy 287 Bridge.

I was going to send yo a PM later today to ask about the ramps because my boys (11) and (15) have been begging to go try the whites at RC one morning this weekend.

Fisherman's Point dredged and laid some gravel on their ramp Tuesday afternoon. Used it this AM and much better.

As far as the fishing goes, it was OK last week, very good on Saturday and as tough as it gets this week. I tried to cancel my trip tomorrow, but folks said they want to fish. Today was worst day I've had this Summer with 12 Keepers.

I think I'd try Cedar Creek or Palestine if I were you.
