Awesome Catching On Lake Buchanan - 01/08/12 03:21 AM

Fished from 10am to 4pm. 55 water temp in 30 feet of water, mid lake. Winds started out of NW at 10mph. Then calmed during middle of day and was back up to 10mph out of NW by evening.

Pictures coming.

Thanks to Brooks (BIVI-Boat owner), Lance (SkeeterLance), Mike (Mike Edwards Pest Control) and David for sharing net, lures and humor on the boat.

Caught and Released about 15-20 fish but Kept 68 magnum whites and 10 big hybrids.

Wished I would of stayed out camping with rest of crew. (RO's crew, Dez crew, and Brandon's crew)

What a great floatilla. Great to see everyone. Awesome fun.

About 10-15 staying out on the willows sand and fishing tonight. Hope to hear good reports. I am sure the fishing stories will be told.

Here is one of several I will be posting, once I download from cell phone.

Using Chart/Green Jigging spoons in 25-30 feet of water. Look for lake humps. Fish all you can find until you find one that has fish. Normally stacked on at least one of them. Alot of moving until you find them.

Always worth taking a guide out if you have not been out on a new lake. IMO

Fermin is recommended.
