Ray Hubbard 12-2-11 - 12/02/11 09:09 PM

Told ya .. Report good and bad smile fished with super duck this morning and the pattern I have been catching fish on has changed .. The water temps were 5 degrees cooler than last week .. 55 degrees today ... We fished from 7:30 am till 11:00 am .. I stuck with the old pattern to long today .. Should have tried something differant earlier but sometimes us fisherman are hard headed smile caught 2 hybrids and 1 ditch pickle ... All fish caught on lures from www.moestackleshop.com ... We drove around a bit and got hungry so
We left smile here is the brute I caught ... But thats it ...

Thanks for the report John. Sorry the fish were not playing right. You never know until you get a line in the water. Beats working any day. ( Which is where I am at ) lol thumb

I had lunch at the Saucer about noon and saw a bunch of water turkeys working the area near the sand bar. Are they ever worth fishing under?

No, but if you are in a pinch for shad, just drive up to a large group sitting on the wter and there is bound to be dead shad floating on the water thumb

Thanks for the report John. I had a report from another friend earlier today that said it was a NO GO also.

one thing about ray hubbard i've known for years is that it doesn't have the normal fall pattern like tawakoni can get.over the last 5 years or so it's actually been more cosistant after christmas or later.but it's still nice to get those warmer days on the lake before it gets cold.i havn't caught fish deep yet.at least somebody is trying.when i've been out don't see no boats around.i would have thought you would have caught them today if the pressure wasnt too high.
