8-18-22 Tawakoni

Starting fishing at around 9. It was hot and heavy action until around 1. Got caught in a couple of welcome rain showers. Was a really good day to be on the water. Lot’s of huge sandbass were grouped together with the wipers and stripers. Still found them in the same depth as the week before but this time it was more than just sandies. Longest striper was around 27”. Mostly caught 6-8 lb hybrids, which is good for me because that is what I usually target. They were so passive aggressive on the bite I missed a lot of fish but did end up catching one in the eye!

Great pics and report, Notaguide. I went yesterday 8/19 afternoon and caught good fish also at Cloud, Sun and near the dam dam. Best fish was this 27 inch drag peeler on 10# test.

We found some good fish yesterday and some huge sandbass as well
