Anyone having any luck yet? I’ve gone twice and had no luck at all. 😢

These cold snaps and no rain doesn't help!
I found a bunch on the livescope on Sunday march 5 more towards the mouth of the river where it enters the lake. They were chasing shad on the bottom in 25-26 feet of water. We caught probably 20, the next week i went up the river close to the rapids and the shad were shallow and not near as many whites on livescope up that way. I would stick closer to the middle or mouth area of the river. hope this helps.

Much obliged. I’m going in the morning, I’ll start at the gravel bar and work my way back until I find them.

I'm waiting for a little more rise in temp before I give it a shot.

Went on the tenth and eighteenth and nothing. Going in the morning to try again. Hopefully no one will be camping on the gravel bars.

Okay. Just returned. No action to speak of at the gravel bars or further up at the rapids. Nearly everyone caught 1or2, at most. All males. Caught 2 undersized myself. They’re just not up river yet. Tried live and artificial baits.

What water temps were you reading while at the mouth of the river?
