Navarro Mills

Navarro Mills - 12/15/21 04:58 PM

Went to Navarro Mills on the 13th looking for some action. Got there at 9:30 and stayed until 3:30. I found fish at several spots (mainly main lake points and down by the dam), most were really spread out over an area and not real concentrated. In 2 places they were all packed in really large groups but threw everything I had in the box and couldn't get a bite. There was a small group of birds flying around all over the lake mostly in the afternoon and they couldn't find any action either.

I thought seeing good reports on cedar creek and richland chambers and other places that they would have been biting here as well. Guess I should have gone to another lake, but you never know until you try.

"but you never know until you try" -So true
Had trips that I was sure we would do good and struck out.
Trips that was supposed to be bad for fishing and it was epic.
The important thing is you got out on a lake and tried.

I've been there twice. Not a good white bass lake.

Much better known as a crappie lake.
