Hybrids on Proctor

Hybrids on Proctor - 11/22/21 04:50 PM

I’m going to fish Lake Proctor on Friday or Sunday for some hybrids. Never fished for them specifically but I’m guessing it would be very similar to fishing stripers on Whitney. Am I wrong on this and could anyone that knows this lake share some advice?

I fish proctor alot. Most of the hybrids I have caught has been trolling or incidental while fishing for sandies. Proctor don't have very much typical structures that I usually find fish thos time a year. Springtime they usually are found along the rocky points on the northern bank. Also the northwest side of the island. About 34' is the deepest water you will find. Maybe someone else will chime in and give some better info. The lake usually has the most shad I have ever seen o lake.

Interesting on the shad part, I’ll be sure to bring my cast net to stock up. Shad can be difficult to come by this time of year on lakes I fish.
