anybody cast double rig like jig on top and slab on bottom i remember my grand dad doing it going to try out at Ray Hubbard Saturday

Been doing it for years. Hand tied jig 18 inches above a silver dollar slab. Caught tons with this method. Make sure you loop the line with the jig so it stands out straight.

I use two bucktails with curly tails in a hi/lo rig. Works excellent for striper.

Do a search for dropper loop knot. Many how to videos.

I've done it before. But now days, IF I fish the double rig, it's in the deep winter.

Just remember this, the more fins you have flapping on a line, the more changes you have to get stuck.
