White bass run over?

Picking up a new canoe next week in Fort Worth area and want to know if there is any place the white bass will be still running on the west side of dfw or anywhere off of I-20 west of Fort Worth really

Buddy of mine still slaying them yesterday, upstream on the Brazos from Tin Top ramp headed towards Horseshoe bend. This was trolling at about 2 mph, but, assume you can catch them on live bait, and cast and retrieve too, on rattletraps, and silver spoons..

Where I was yesterday, they were all spawned out and heading down stream. Flat fish. Not one single fish on a jig either. And I fished a jig the whole time too. But I did catch quite a few sandies on minnows while going after crappie. Crappie were slow. But sandies were hot. Most sandies were in the 12-15" range. With a few in the 11".
