Texoma - Fishing a Sassy Shad

What is the preferred method of retrieve for a swim bait this time of year? Cast and steady retrieve, bouncing/jigging off of the bottom, slow steady retrieve along the bottom or all of the above?

We trolled with 6 inch glow in the dark ones last week, on a 4 oz jig head, at about 2 mph, or a little faster. Caught some nice bigger fish (8lbs and up)

Straight retrieve. Water temp is key when it comes to speed.
Fast when its warm. Slower when its cool. Slow when its cold. Deadstick when it real cold.
