We are camping at Caney Creek on Texoma this weekend. Could anybody recommend where we might go to catch shad on the lake near there?

Soldier creek is holding some nice size shad. It's a creek over.

Right now there are shad everywhere. Caught 10lbs of gizzards in one cast yesterday
