Summer time fishing on Lake Richland Chambers - 07/01/20 11:37 AM
Summer is here and it's very hot and windy.
Luckily some days we have the biggest schools of feeding fish on the south side of the lake with a little protection from the wind.
We get a little help spotting the schooling action from the Blue Herons and Great White Egrets who are feeding on the shad that the fish are pushing up. You can get a good box of fish throwing slabs and topwaters at them.
Some mornings some live bait under the schooling will get you a few Hybrids out of the school.
Other than that be safe drink tons of liquids and get off the lake as soon as possible!
Good luck and have a Great summer.
Bob Holmes longest running fishing guide on the lake and still the striper lake record holder.
