Richland Chambers Top Water Action Kickin' In Gear! - 06/21/20 11:15 AM

It's not been an every trip happening, but the most recent outings we've had some of the Summertime Top Water Schooling action RC is know for! Check out the 309 Flats and the South Shoreline early and then move to the Main Lake depending on the Weather and Wind conditions. Tie on a Tiny Torpedo, In- Line Spinner or better yet, a small Blue/Chrome Rat-L-Trap and you're in business. If you get the right conditions with a 5-10 mph South Breeze & a little cloud cover, you're set for some great AM Top Water action. However, if you get the conditions we had yesterday with a late night Storm, early AM West/NW Winds at 15-20 MPH and some Rain, all bets are off! bang Check us out at www.gonefishin.biz and take a look at our "Package Special"! We specialize in FAMILY FISHING FUN and cater to Kiddos! We're booking late July and August now. Here's a few Pics from the last couple of weeks:

Very nice. You are fortunate to have a productive fishery close. PK and Bporte have gone to sleep !!

"Productive" is a good way to describe RC as it provides some of the finest White Bass and Catfish fishing in East Texas! However, right now the early Summer pattern is like many other Lakes in that it's not easy after the AM Schooling stops. The Whites are hard to find most days and the Live Bait Hybrid fishermen are telling me that the Hybrids are not biting consistently. We go through this pattern almost every year and often the bite improves a bit but sometimes it just gets tougher as the Summer gets hotter. It helps to be on the Lake everyday as I often hear the occasional angler say the fish have disappeared or been fished out. Not so as they're still there, you just have to find them! dance2

Good Luck and Good Fishing!
