Just about every lake in the great state of Texas is showing out this year and Cedar Creek is no exception. With 5 or 6 consecutive high flow spawning seasons the white bass populations have exploded. Consistent hybrid stocking from the TPWD have resulted in healthy classes of hybrids in all sizes. Limited travel at the real job due to COVID has allowed me run quite a few guide trips this season and I'm loving every minute of it! Cedar Creek typically fishes shallower than many of the other North East Texas lakes, but the fish made a transition to deeper water a couple weeks ago in BIG numbers. Check the edges of those 25-28' structures that drop off to 35' and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Limits of hybrids are hitting the boat every trip, and they are big...
