Cedar Creek fish whisperer comes to Lewisville!!

I had the great pleasure of hosting Dennis Christian in my boat on lake Lewisville today. I have been behind the curve at using electronics to find fish and was able to receive some great coaching from the master. Let me tell you the man knows how to find fish! Even in adverse conditions! My console unit kept going in and out of receiving GPS so Dennis asked about the trolling motor unit. Well I was able to move it close enough to the console so that he could use it for GPS/navionics while using the console unit for sonar. Once he got the sonar dialed in he started putting us on fish. Finished the day with 65 big whites,12 massive hybrids including a couple 10lb. plus beasts, some catfish including about a 20 lb. blue and one big crappie. It was a great day of fishing for sure. Even more importantly to me is the fact that because of the good teaching I feel confident that I will be able to go out and duplicate what we did today. Every single fish boated today was caught using his mepps method. He certainly made a believer out of me. Had a great time with fishrdude on Lake Lewisville yesterday. He has the Mepps method down! I showed him several spots I knew about, but the only area where we found fish was the Gravel Pits. We caught fish an 3 different humps there. On the last one we hit the jackpot on big hybrids. We caught one that went 19 inches and another 22 inches. The other 10 were 23 to 27.5 inches. Each of us caught one of the 27.5 size. We weighed one of them and it was 10.4 lb. In addition to the 12 we caught, we had 3 more hybrids pull off and one broken line. Also, about half the white bass we caught were in the 13 to 16 inch range. Here are some pics:

Good post. Dennis is a great fisherman and a very kind soul. I’ve only had the pleasure of fishing with him once but wish I could spend more time learning from him. He is a good example of what the Good Lord expects from us all. Congrats on your good fortune.

I fished there 3 times in 2018 - two pre-fish trips and then Phil's white bass tournament. Yes, on the 2nd pre-fish trip on a hump in the Gravel Pits I caught a 27 inch hybrid. The hybrids there definitely seem to run bigger. My biggest this year so far at CC is 24 inches. Was using 12 lb test Berkley Vanish with gold tint.

That will be a day to remember , I bet fish r dude also had the best day fishing with the FIsh Whisper , I have been following DC on TFF since 2017, DC is the real deal , always helping and showing fishing technique to sportsmen that love to fish. Great Report , guys , Thx
