Finally caught a nice day , no wind , got started this morning at 7am , went directly to the dam ridge , fish were blowing up every where , 7 FOW , casting , jigging , it didnt matter ...... all the fish at the dam ridge were caught on Cotten Cordell chrome spoons , #4 Mepps, as the fish slowed in the shallow water , I moved out on the end of the dam ridge , 15- 22 FOW, as I got deeper the vertical presentation seemed to work for these two baits( Cotton Cordell jigging spoon and #4Mepps) . Finally I moved to the key ranch drop off , loaded with fish , 22- 23 FOW, vertical presentation , lifting the #4 Mepps slowly off the bottom , some as it was falling , the spoon worked the same way. Finally moved to he last spot long ridge east , 20 - 23 FOW , loaded with good fish. It's 11:45am , time to go to the house , over two limits of sand bass, 2 legal Hybirds , 3 cats, good day , CC is an amazing fishery.
