Tawok this morning

We got to the 2 mile ramp and looked like some sort of tournament going on. Left Fate just before 6 and winds were calm. Got to the lake and I felt sorry for those dudes in bass boats. We could not hang at spot I wanted to fish so we headed to the dam. For the catfish fisher folks the spawn is on off the dam rocks. By the time I realized the wind and waves had dropped enough to fish humps we pretty much missed out.

We had a good day but it was a grind with the big wind

Good to know on the catfish! I stopped by the rocks on the dam for a min to check and didn’t catch a any. I haven’t got to fish in a few days now. Working in west Tx where there is no water. Hoping to get back on them next week with less wind and more fish!
