Benbrook whites

Tried to get to a couple of the creeks closer to the lake and there all closed or roads shut down. Both roads to mustang are shut down to thru traffic, bear says it doesn't open till April. I have tried right off 377 before with no luck. Is it best to just haul the boat out to the lake? Was looking for a place for some quick fishing.

I live down the road from whiskey flats bridge and haven’t seen to many people fishing at the bridge on my daily commute.Usually when the cars start lining up is when I put the boat in and go up the creeks. With all this rain and looks like more next week who knows when they will turn on.

I gave it a go this morning and came away with 3 whites and a black bass. We tried the dam at first light then went up the creek by the thunderbirds airport. Took it all the way up then back again. Everyone we talked to said the run hasn't started yet.
