Somerville newbie - 02/07/20 04:46 PM

First time attempting Somerville, and trying to target whites if possible. Only been on the lake to duck hunt never fish. By doing so I haven’t paid any attention to where all the fisherman are on the lake. I’m going to be in a kayak with no graphs, so what should I throw. Also closes spot that I can paddle to with limited success. Thanks and Gig’em

Yegua creek and Nails creek are where most of the white bass are caught. yegua being better for whites i think. getting there in a kayak is about a mile paddle across the lake launching from Nails Creek State Park. getting into Nails creek is easier. check out the bank fishing section. there is a thread on lake sommerville there.
