Looks just like PK fish, LOLOL .Been catching some male stripes to 5 lbs. No sows. NICE CATCH.

We been catching some of those slabs various spots on the lake, 22’ has been our magic depth. Great catch & post.

Had a great Christmas afternoon fishing with the wife and daughter. Caught and released 142 in only 2.5 hours. The first 50 were magnum white bass about 1.5 lbs. Caught along the river channel from 20 FOW to 35 FOW.

Looks like you found them! To answer your question, yes I was north of Katy bridge just off the channel break.
