Cedar Creek 12/4 - 12/05/19 10:12 PM
Rob and I met around 10am to try our luck. Lake is down but clarity was good. Light to no wind all afternoon. Water temp around 57. First 3 stops couldn't locate any concentrations of fish, Pitts point, St. Annes, then West side of Dam. Next stop was Long Ridge West. Stayed there the rest of the day. Found fish loaded in 20-25 fow. Strange bite, we were using slab and fly. Find a school and catch 3-6 then even though they were still coming under us they would not bite. Most of the time the bite was very light, you had to not move your bait much and set the hook at the slightest feel. Catch a few, then move a short distance. Didn't really count but caught around 40 nice big fat sandbass, 3 under hybrids and one fat 20 incher. Great day on a great lake with a good friend - can't beat it.
