Texhoma Report - 11/19/19 07:10 PM

Planning a trip tomorrow I dont want your honey hole or your secret bait. Just some guidance on what part of the lake to start at. I had heard the Islands watching the birds is this still going on?
Thanks for the Help

Typical November fishing fish have gravitated out deeper most days think north or west of the islands
Fish around the islands is always possible this time of year

On Sunday we left Highport and started looking for shad. Checked out a couple of coves but the water was murky and hard to see any, so we headed east in search of birds. Found three separate groups but they were moving fast and fish were not super interested in artificials. We picked up one on a deadstick and a small sandbass on a slab. Decided to try for shad one more time and caught enough in one cast to fish the rest of the day. Headed to Mack Creek and started thumping in deeper water. Had double hookups and triple hookups and within the next 2 hours were able to catch a limit for my boat (3 people) and 12 for my buddy boat who tied off next to me. They could have easily caught a limit but were happy with enough fish for dinner. Was a fantastic time. We caught a couple of nice blues as a bonus...

Much thanks! I drive over an hour each way to fish this lake around 5,6 times a year and can't figure out where to fish, not yet anyway. So, thank you for sharing.

I’m having the same issue. Caught a couple but seems to be to long a drive for just a couple of fish. Might need to up the visits to 12 times a year.

I drive up almost every weekend from Allen. Let me know if you want to go with me, you can join me or bring your boat...no issues with buddy boating as you can see from the pictures...

Fished yesterday morning from
8-11. Tough day for everyone if looked like. Lots of boats running wild and very little bird action. Picked up a few on swim baits in a creek. Marked bait and fish Deep no takers though. [Linked Image]

Same here. I caught one baby white bass early, and that was it. My graphs looked very similar. I thought I might have had a tainted batch of flukes.

Has anyone been fishing off the rocks near the dam?
