Only wanted live bait today

Found lots of fish, but could not get the whites or hybrids to hit a slab. Threw everything we had at them. A boat pulls up and starts fishing with live shad and absolutely slams them. I guess I'll have to sell my soul and get a bait tank.

The weird part was we caught several catfish, drum, crappie, and a stringer of largemouth on slabs but only managed two whites.

Buy one for next year. The bite will turn to slabs and jigs before the tank arrives .

We fished Texoma yesterday with a thumper and Panoptix. I was able to bring fish to the boat every time. With the deadstick I could see the fish check out my baits and swim away. With the slab I could see them chase it and sometimes bite it, sometimes not. When we switched to live shad, several fish would congregate before one would eventually take it. Will post a video soon but was really cool to watch.

Man I want a panoptix but hate to spend the that much money
