We went yesterday. Got to the lake at 7:30. Had trouble catching bait in our usual spots so had to scramble to find some close to the dam. Headed out to tabletop, there were several guide boats there but we marked some fish a good bit away from them and set up the thumper. Caught first fish in 2 min then ended up with our 8 overs and a few box fish in about an hour. Were marking tons of fish on panoptix.
Decided to try Mac creek as well and caught several more overs and 1-2 box fish. We did not bring in as many fish with the thumper, we did not see nearly as many fish on the panoptix but they were hungry!
We headed back to the marina by 11:30. Had a retired army guy sitting at the dock fishing. He wasn’t having any luck so we gave him one of our overs to share with his wife for dinner!
I still haven’t finished the video from my last trip but here is a picture of one of my thumper customers with a nice Striper! Since he was local to Texoma, I took him out and showed him how to use the thumper...
