Twok

Not really much of a striper fisherman.... heck, one could argue i am not worth a dang bass fishing.. but I want to give these stripers a shot on twok..

Curious on what baits are commonly used? Slabs? Colors?

WIll probably stay down by the dam...

Taking the GF out there and want to get her on some good ones.. as bass fishing is just too much work for her...

I spent all day yesterday there. Found sandbass by the ton but no stripers or hybrids

Plenty of bait near shore right now. Watch for the birds going after them

do I need to use the big slabs for these?

I use a 1.5 ounce slab. Seems the perfect size

I’ve been catching a bunch of sand bass on 1/4 and 1/2 oz tail spinners. Very few on slabs.

Big baits for big fish.
