Lake Travis Striper

Lake Travis Striper - 07/25/19 10:24 PM

We (Father, Brother, Myself) booked a striper trip last night with Torwicks Guide Service on Lake Travis and had a great time. We went into the trip looking for some big fish and the evening didn't disappoint. We landed a 15lb+, 11lb+, several around 8lbs. We also unfortunately broke off a couple at the boat that were also well over 10lbs. Sorry about that Tyler.... All in all, the combo of the great weather and big fish made for a great time!

Was that a night fishing trip? I just moved to Lake Travis and have mainly fished for large mouth. I've never seen the sandies or stripers schooling and have wondered why! Nice catches!

Fish those lit docks at night and you'll find them.
