Richland Chambers 5/23

Last minute decision to try RC yesterday. Met Rob at Oak cove and got on the water @ 6:30am. Water is up but good clarity everywhere we fished. Morning was very good fishing. No top water action but slabs with fly above in 20-25 fow was working great. Rob was pulling them in two at a time. We also found some in deeper water and found that counting down 20ft worked better than on the bottom. Around 11:00 it slowed down and we would catch 2 or 3 and then move. Ended the day at 1:00 with 171 on the clicker (all returned to fight another day). All were sandbass with around 10 under hybrids and one 19" hybrid. We fished main lake humps.

Looks like it was a great decision and a great time.

Thanks guys. RC is a great lake to fish especially during the week. Tons of fish and very little boat traffic make for the most relaxing day of fishing.
