Easy, tough, cool, hot, windy, calm week on Richland Chambers! - 08/05/18 11:30 AM
Depending on what kind of weather or conditions you like to fish in, we had it this past week on RC. The Cool AM temps were pleasant and the North Wind for several days made for a different bite. Also, the Whites and Hybrid action went from Good to Fair to Poor and back to Good over the Monday thru Saturday timeframe. The bite was so tough on Thursday and Friday that we called our Saturday Customers and told them if they wanted to cancel or reschedule, it was OK with us . Both Groups said "NO, they wanted to fish!" so we did. Well....My group had their 75 fish limit of Whites by 10AM and Adam's group ended the morning with 62 Whites and a couple of Nice Hybrids! Glad folks trust us enough to say Let's Fish! The Lake had quite a few boats on it on Saturday, but most seemed to be live baiting for Hybrids. Adam and I stayed on a School of Top Water Whites for two hours and never had another boat join us! Go Figure!!! We caught our Top Water fish on the Main Lake near the Dam and our Slab fish off Points and Humps in water 20' or less. Summertime White Bassin' can be so different from day to day with fast moving and fickle fish one day and easy to be caught feeding fish the next! Hang in there and you will usually be rewarded! Here's a few Pics from this past week!
