Fun Week With Families and Kiddos on RC! (Pic Heavy) - 07/22/18 11:39 AM
We had a boat on the water everyday except one this past week and ended the week with both of us fishing on Friday & Saturday. Great Top Water White Bass Schooling action on the 309 Flats was the norm on Monday thru Wednesday and then we couldn't find a Schoolie that would stay up on Friday & Saturday. Still we managed our box full of fish as we moved up the Creek Channels and fished Humps and Points and caught our fish on RSR Slabs with a Jig Combo. The Creek fish do two things for us as they (1) Are easier for Kiddos to catch than the Top Water fish as we're just dropping Slabs to the bottom in 10'-15' of water and (2) We get away from the Weekend Crowd on the Main Lake. We never had another boat around us on Friday or Saturday! 
We're getting on and off the Lake early & when we come in to clean fish, some of the Kids like to catch Catfish at the Cleaning Table while others head straight to the Marina Café for a Burger & Frys.
