Cedar Creek Fishing Report Today on 6.26.2018

My two grandsons were with me this morning for am schooling sand bass on SAMs Hump, for 2 hours, these two kids caught fish till their arms were just ...... All of these fish were caught on rattle traps and Cotton Cordell small silver spoon. After the schooling slowed we went to long Ridge East , the fish were scattered in this area . In 20 to 23 FOW. We moved to Key Ranch Drop Off, picked up several fish on Mepps #4 and the small silver spoons. We finally moved to the humps in front of the Stone Boat House, mid lake, in 20 to 24 FOW. After catching all the he sand bass and 3 Hybirds over 15 lbs , the kids were ready to go to the house. Great Day! Take a Kid Fishing !

Thanks for the report but I like to fish with lures & live bait. Is there any particular locations where I can catch some shad??? I’ll be fishing CC this weekend. I’m a virgin when it comes to Cedar Creek...

I'm sorry, I only use Mepps #4, and (#2 Mepps, Summer months ) , Thx , you may want to try humps , long points, also look on the Forum for the name Dennis Christian. Dennis will have a link to a map of the lake . This is the best map I have ever seen . If you have electronics, you will find this map easy to use. Hope this helps. Good Luck ! Take a KId FIshing !

If you put in at the gas station in seven points you can usually find all you need there and on the north side of the center bridge island early am. If not there then head south to the sand islands
