Chambers Still Churning Them Out! (Update)

Been a couple of weeks since we reported the latest RC results as we've been fortunate to stay on the Lake almost everyday! While the huge schools of fish are not EVERYWHERE like they were a couple of weeks ago, we're still managing limits on Whites each outing and almost always a few Keeper Hybrids. Adam's twosome this AM had 8 Big Hybrids along with their 50 Whites and 3 Cats. All our fish are coming on RSR Slabs and we're fishing in depths ranging from 15'-35' FOW. Pelican Island is still producing a few fish, the Roadbed has been hot and cold, and fish are now moving to a more Summer Pattern by relating to Points, Humps and Ridges up the Creeks. Looks like we went from Winter to Summer and skipped Spring!!! We've got a few June openings and are now booking July & August. Almost time for School to be out and Kiddos on the Lake. Ended the week Saturday with Boy Scout Troop 520 from the DFW area fishing with us once again. They arrived Friday evening, set up their tents at Fisherman's Point Marina and got ready for a FUN Weekend. We began Saturday Morning with our first Shuttles of 4 Boys and a Dad at 7AM. Adam and I did a Shuttle at 7AM,9:30AM and Noon and 18 Scouts and 10 Dads caught well over 200 Whites, Hybrids, and Yellow Bass. The Scouts have to Catch, Clean & Cook their catch to earn their Fishing Badge. Saturday Evening ended with a Fish Fry, and the Boys pack up and depart Sunday Morning! It was a WINDY day of fishing, but the fish cooperated, the weather cooperated for the Camping and the Troop is already looking to set their 2019 date! It's nice to fish with young folks of their caliber and a great group of Dads & Moms!
