Another Good Week on Richland Chambers!!!

Another Good Week on Richland Chambers!!! - 04/13/18 11:07 PM

Managed to get almost all our trips in this week even with some brisk North Winds to begin the week and downright STRONG South Wind to end it! We did cancel our trips tomorrow (Saturday) as RC is too tough for us with a 20 MPH North Wind! realmad Along with a Crappie Trip on Wednesday and Catfish Trip on Thursday, I fished the Whites everyday and the Customers managed a nice box each outing. Got real lucky on Thursday & Friday and found fish on several South Shoreline Points and stayed out of the gusty South Winds. Monday and Tuesday were about as good as it gets with Hybrids and Whites all over the Flats most of the morning. Sassy Shads and Slabs resulted in large numbers of 15"-17" fish and several Keeper Hybrids both days. Even with all the Reports coming from folks on RC, bet I didn't see 20 boats total all week. Nice to have a 45,000 acre Lake all too yourself on a couple of days in April! hmmm Here's a few pics from the week:

Thanks for the informative post, will have to try the flats next time out. Last time we parked at Pelican Island and caught a ton of fish with some keeper hybrids mixed in.
That wind can beat you to death but if you tough it out the fishing can be good. Had two awesome days there a week ago and been wanting to get back but keep waiting for the wind to get below 20mph. As you mentioned another good reason to fish RC is the small amount of boats fishing. Don't have to worry about getting in someones way.
