Need Help fishing is Shreveport area - 02/04/18 05:40 PM

Will be in Shreveport first week in March and want to fish with a guide one day.
The three lakes I am considering are Caddo, Toledo Bend, and Lake of the pines.
Just want to have a good day fishing with my brother who is driving down from Indiana.
What kind of fish we catch (not keeping any) is not as important as having a good time.
1. Which lake is most likely to be best this time of year?
2. What guide would you recommend?
3. Any other recommendations?

Caddo if y’all haven’t fished it before. The scenery is worth it.

Steve, I don’t know exactly where the Nueces River is but it has 3lb sandbass in it and I believe it is in East Texas somewhere. I don’t know how far from Shreveport it would be to drive.
