Whitney ..Saturday.....they are still biting.

Took old coaching buddy , Lonnie Hanson , to Whitney today . Started out south of the island and it was good for about an hour.....moved up to the flats out from the bluffs and remained there until 3 pm .The north wind was getting up and heavy mist . We called it a day. Water temp was 52.4 caught the fish in 25 to 32 feet of water.Had some bird action early. 133 whites, 4 keeper stripers and a bunch of smaller stripers.All on silver slabs with fly above.
