Night Trip PK 12-28-17 - 12/29/17 05:37 PM

Went back out again last night with the guys from Nebraska. We traveled south and fished for a couple of hours without any success. We went back up to the north end and managed a few before it was time to leave. They were heading home early this morning. I had a great trip.
I hope they did too! [/img]

Joe: You need to call yourself Viking Guide service if you can go out at night in this weather. You certainly have my respect.

Thanks PK! I have to give out the praise to my clients. Not a one has complained about the cold weather so far. I guess it is easy to stay warm when fish can be caught. One of my clients this last Tuesday night cut his finger on a gill plate and bled for ever. The back of the boat looked like a scene out of "TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE". Blood (his blood) was everywhere but he never complained. He didn't even know he was cut for the longest time. He just taped it up and kept fishing. The cold wet weather will affect me sometime--just not right now!

Joe are they still right up in the lights or have you started catching some out on the edges or even further?

The last I went was Thursday night and the fish were all around the lights. Underwater and street. I have a trip tomorrow. I will let you know after.

Sounds good. Last winter it we caught most of em on the edges of the light. But i went a couple weekends back and you had to either land right on top of the green lights or right under the sodium bulbs to catch em
