If I throw a lipless crankbait behind a moving boat will it sink down to the bottom like I want it too or are regular crank baits the only ones that will sink like that I'm going to tawakoni the week of Thanksgiving and was wondering if a lipless crankbait would work good for trolling stripers hybrid s or sandbass

lipless baits like Hot Spots or rattletraps will not run very deep when trolled.

Way back when I had women and children in the boat , we did well trolling
rattle traps at times. All depends on how deep the fish are holding.

good luck

Our rattletraps run 8-10 ft while trolling
