Some Sunnies and a few Nice Carp ! - 10/31/17 06:45 PM
Myself and Clayton aka the Wildman of the Navidad went to the Guadalupe River to see if we could catch some sunnies and Carp. We did good on both. We caught several nice nice Bluegill and Redbreast along with three nice Carp. The smallest was 12 lbs caught on ultralight tackle with four pound test line by Clayton and the two larger ones were in the 15 pound range. The fights were "AWESOME"! Carp were all caught using corn. The sunfish were caught using worms. Fish were in 7 to 10 feet of water and were caught in the afternoon between 1pm and 5pm. All fish were released to fight again. Catching some fall time sunnies and Carp. It just don't get any better!
