That there is a warmouth. A medium sized one can take a pretty big bass sized lure. I catch a lot of 'em on bass sized plastics. Love them warmouths! Wish we had Rock Bass down here too. There are just as fun. Nice catch and pic!
to the TFF!
Yes sir, thats one to brag about. That place looks fishy and ticky

Hey DaBankFishaman where do you go on White Rock , I like to stop by there on my way home from work most days , I usually fish the creek tht crosses under N Buckner . I have caught a few greens , a warmouth almost exactly like yours a few 7-9 inch bass and one 13 incher .. you should have seen her jump .. You ever try a south mesquite creek , it has some nice bass too.

South Mesquite creek winds all thru Mesquite I like to fish the area directly around Debusk park . its a really small creek but you wont belive what you'll catch .. You really have got to check it out and tell me how you do .

Nice Warmouth. I had one hit a 1/2 oz football jig when I was bass fishing. Those suckers sure are aggresive. When I caught my first one on that jig I had no idea what I had in my hand. They're a blast to catch.

Yeah - we called them goggleye also. Warmouth sounds too much like a Northern species of fish.
