Rio-Columbus Day

Rio-Columbus Day - 10/12/22 03:34 PM

We decided to fish Columbus Day and we found the Rios extra active and thumping our jigs really hard. Actually all fish were pretty aggressive and full of energy. Most of the Rios were along the edge about a fow. Some Rios were along trees in the water. Sizes ranged from 7 to 10+ inches.

We caught all fish on 1/32 JIGLYF jigs dark colors worked best. We released everyone except 3 crappie that we fried up for dinner with a side of Mac and cheese.

Thank you Laker One. Our last few trips have been very successful with the Rios. It's just that time of the year.
