I do not target the Bluegill (Sunfish) but I have caught my share of small fish.

An oldie from way back!

I may have to dig to get a picture of my smallest. Until the TPWD changed their rules, there was not a lower limit on fish size and I did a lot of micro fishing. This blacktail shiner on a fly was one of my smallest last year.

I was hoping to post a dink this weekend but I blanked after 12 hours of fishing. IMy fault as I didn't move around from a sitting location bottom fishing. Oh well, it's fun getting out there.

At 3:00 in, Sunny K caught the smallest hardhead Ive ever seen. And we caught a bunch of links this day! So that's saying something!!

It's crazy how big a lure a little fish will hit.

...or how small a lure large fish will strike. What bullies! such as this 4 lb white sucker:

But then again fish are bullies no matter the species.
