Well...After 4 straight 60-ish + bass trips in October, the bite has slowed way down. Only got 19 fish today & had to work really hard for those. Water temp is down to 68-72 degrees & the lake level continues to drop a little each week . Tried for both bass & bluegill today and actually found 2 small gils hiding in the timber. I think there are more in there, but get hung up constantly fishing the drop shot. Bass were caught on swimbaits & the gils on Gulp Alive minnows. Talked to a guy at the ramp that said he caught around a dozen bass all day as well. Still, real nice weather & love being in the Great Outdoors...
