New toy

After casting Leo's 6ft fly rod and realized it was so much easier to work with than with my 9ft. I told him I wanted one. I finally got one. It's 6'6 2.wt rod with a pink 3.wt reel. After about 45 min of practicing in the yard I finally got enough confidence to go down to the river, after a few casts I caught my first bass.

Awesome. Fly fishing is a lot of fun. In my younger days I would use a yellow and white fly to catch crappie in the river.
