We spent 4 hours on the lake today. Robert, who’s also my brother-in-law, and I fished 4 spots with two of them producing pretty good action. In total we caught 112 gil and one small bass. Bait of choice was Berkely Chartreuse shad and emerald shiner. Unlike previous weeks, about 15 of the fish caught were 9 to 10 inches in length with most of the remaining 7 to 9 inches. Water was a little choppy and temperature was close to 90 degrees. All fish were released to so Vogey and Doc can string them up next week LOL.
