Saturday before the rain (8-21-21)

About 20 min after launching we noticed clouds getting darker and closer and the wind picked up. 0% chance of rain according to weather man So we moved to the side and tied off to some brush. After the wind and rain quit the crappie got active and started to bite. Here's a short video and pics.






Crappie were caught on JIGLYF jigs and released to swim another day.

Y'all catching them nice post front crappie. Thats tough sometimes. Especially in the middle of summer. That water must hold a pretty stable water level. Great vid and great catches y'all!

Crappie have been tough to find for us in the summer. We still cant figure out there summer pattern, but were getting better at it. The water level drops really bad till it rains again. Thank you jagg for your reply!
