So Far So Good!

So Far So Good! - 06/20/21 02:58 AM

2021 has been going pretty good. Myself and Rick aka Catyakker have been catching good quality Redear and Bluegill fishing creeks. Water bodies are in excellent conditions due to the good rains we have gotten. Fish are getting into their summer patterns and are hanging in or by grass beds in 5 to 8 feet of water. Fish are also staging under overhanging tree limbs. Seeing a lot of fish topping water hitting flying dragon flies . Most of the fish being caught are in the 8 and 9 inch range with a bunch going into the 10 inch range. Fish are being caught with worms and Gulp Alive Worms. Both float and bottom techniques are being used. Also fished my friends ranch ponds this past week and caught plenty of BIG Channel Catfish. All fish were released but some of the smaller catfish were kept for the dinner table. Oh yea, been catching a few trophy Rios also. Having a good year! It just don't get any better. fish
