A beautiful day on the E. Nueces - 02/22/21 05:18 AM

We just had to get out and enjoy the beautiful sunny day. Headed north this time hit the Cooksy park. The water was Crystal clear and could see down to the bottom. We didnt see many fish
Started fishing with a 1/8oz. No bites so Switched over to 1/32 and caught a small Guadalupe bass. Beautiful fish!

I thought about you Chuck when we were out there. I was telling Leo you need a tube so you can explore more of that canyon.

I've been telling Chuck for the past several years, that I've got an extra Kayak, and an extra set of chest waders for him to use any time he wants to get adventuresome. Naw he says, he's Banker-Always Fishing. Now a Toob, that sure sounds interesting. Wouldn't have to worry about falling out of a Kayak, or stepping in a deep hole. thumb

The clear water makes it more challenging and you have to be stealthy, make long cast. Thanks Gitter Done for the reply! And youre welcome! thumb
