A beautiful day on the E. Nueces - 02/22/21 05:18 AM
We just had to get out and enjoy the beautiful sunny day. Headed north this time hit the Cooksy park. The water was Crystal clear and could see down to the bottom. We didnt see many fish
Started fishing with a 1/8oz. No bites so Switched over to 1/32 and caught a small Guadalupe bass. Beautiful fish!
Leo caught a longear on a 1/32oz pink with white body jig.
For the first time i caught a hand towel.
We only caught those two fish while fishing at the Cooksy park the bite was slow but still enjoyed the beautiful day and soaking in some sun as well. Here are a few more pics from Cooksy park.
On our way home we stopped liked 20 miles down and bank fished for a few minutes before it got to dark. The water was very clear as well you could see sunfish bass and we saw two rios. The rios were in 5ft of water. I caught a small lmb and a greenie on a 1/16 oz chartreuse with orange body.
