Spooctacular weekend

Spooctacular weekend - 11/02/20 10:34 PM

Headed out Halloween evening to Amistad. The day was sunny but not hot, unless you were in a gorilla suit. Not sure if the moon had anything to do with it, but the fish were skittish. Caught a few ditch pickles and a catfish.

All fish were released to swim another day.
Saturday we fish in a smaller body of water. We caught a few sunfish and lots of dink crappie.

Wow, great report. You two sure are fishing magnets. Was stationed there in Del Rio for a few years and fished Amistad most every weekend. Don't seemed like I ever figured it out. One day you just tear them up and the next day at the same location, nada. I crossed the 277 bridge a couple of weeks ago on my way to do some archery hunting and I don't remember the water ever being so low. sick

Yes they do! Right now yellow is hot so is blue, depending what they are feeding on. Right now its yellow butterflies and blue dragon flies. Thanks Laker One for the reply! thumb
