Lake Granbury

Lake Granbury - 08/17/20 06:12 PM

I haven’t been to Lake Granbury for awhile, so I ran over this morning. I was hoping to find some carp on a fly, but no carp activity in the normal flats where I find them. I switched to bluegill and basically caught one on every cast roflmao I stopped counting at twenty, and caught several after that. All were small (5 to 7”). Still a relaxing morning.

roflmao I found the Freedom Fly Reels on EBay over 20 years ago. I paid $0.99 for them with $2.99 shipping. They have all caught hundreds of carp and other fish. I have beat them up and the drags are still working great. As you can see I am hard on my gear.
