Fayette near bust 10/28/19 - 10/29/19 01:30 PM

Fished Fayette yesterday from 8:00 an til 6:00 pm...got a sore right shoulder this morning ! Had real high expectations for bass...mostly cloudy, pre front, not too windy, water temp mid 70s, late October, bla bla bla. Only caught 3 bass & 1 tilapia ALL DAY. Talked with 3 other boats with similar ,or worse results. Water level still down a foot. Tried 2 creek channels & some deeper trees for sunfish for about an hour with no fish found. Did get a few decent pics with a neat sunrise & pm clouds...and 1 buzzard did pose for me... [Linked Image]

Good post vogey! We fished on sunday with similar results. The bite was super slow it's like the fish just weren't in the mood to bite. We really had to work our jigs to get the fish to bite

Could be the lake is turning over. That's what I ran into at Conroe last week. Bite very slow.

Meager results on fish but you sure did harvest some dandy photographs. Love that shot with
the trees, the vulture, and the power plant. Beautiful editing job. Awesome !

Go Astros ! ! !

Doc...The lake already turned over a few weeks ago...water was beautiful & crystal clear...
Laker...I am thinking about posting a $100 reward to anyone that can find these guys in the winter....payout is on the water ! fish

True dat ! And that’s what will make it worth the trouble to find them. My bet is they will be stacked where they are found.

Yeah, this is about the time I usually switch up to black bass myself, but I’m gonna hang on a bit longer. Keep at it, Vogey! hammer
